  • Where is Partners 4 Healing located?
    Partners 4 Healing is conveniently located at 6211 Stoney Creek Drive in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
  • Do I need to make an appointment?
    Yes. Please call 260-717-3388 to schedule your appointment or you can book online.
  • What is your cancellation policy?
    If you cancel your appointment within 24 hours, there is no fee. Same day cancellations will charged at 50% of session price. No shows with no prior notification will be charged 100% of missed session to be able to reschedule. Some exceptions may apply.
  • What can I expect at my massage therapy session?
    Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your scheduled session to fill out a standard intake form. This will allow us to understand any relative medical history, make us aware of your trouble areas and alert us to any contraindications regarding your massage. In the therapy room there is a massage table with sheets and a table warmer for your comfort. Soft, relaxing music may be played during your session. Before the session begins you will be given time to privately undress down to your comfort level (what most people do is disrobe to their underwear) and lay down on the table covering yourself with the sheets. When the therapist comes in, she will begin your massage. Throughout the massage you will be kept covered by the sheets with only the part of the body being massaged exposed. If you are uncomfortable at any time during your massage, please let us know and we will make every effort to ensure your experience is as relaxing and comfortable as possible. After the massage is finished, you will be permitted to rest for a few minutes until you are ready to get dressed again.
  • How will I feel after the massage is finished?
    After a massage session you will likely feel very relaxed. Please take your time getting off the massage table and ask for assistance if you need it. By the following day, you may feel a little sore in areas where the therapist concentrated on to relieve stiffness. Be sure to talk with your therapist if you have any concerns. Since toxins are released from your soft tissues during a massage, it is recommended you drink plenty of water following your massage.
  • What methods of payment do you accept?
    We can accept cash, check, credit card, debit card, Health Savings Account (HSA), Flexible Spending Account (FSA), Paypal and Venmo.
  • Am I expected to tip my massage therapist?
    Tips are never expected but are greatly appreciated. If you have received exceptional service from your therapist and would like to show your appreciation, the average tip ranges between 10%-25%.
  • How often should I receive massage therapy?
    After your first massage session, the therapist will offer her recommendation regarding future visits and discuss with you a treatment plan if required.
  • Are there any medical conditions that would make massage therapy inadvisable?
    Yes. That's why it's important for you to fill out the intake form as complete as possible before your first session. Please inform your therapist of any health problems or medications you are taking. If you are under a doctor's care, it is strongly advised that you receive a written recommendation for massage or bodywork prior to any session. Depending on the condition, approval from your doctor may be required.
  • Do you offer any special rates or discounts?
